The results for senior officers are expected to be announced by mid-April 2024. Candidates can expect publication of the merit list which determines the eligibility for the personal interview. The process of evaluation of answer sheets started immediately after the exam and is expected to be completed within six weeks.

A total of 100 MCQs carrying one mark each were asked in the online exam conducted against 97 posts of senior officers. It is estimated that a general category candidate may be required to score between 72 and 78 points to qualify for CBT and be shortlisted for PI, though the original cut-off is yet to be released.
